Gloucester Mews, Paddington

Architect: Toh Shimazaki
Client: Private Client
Contract Value: £680,000

A 3.2 metre wide derelict slot in a mews was converted into a three storey house. The development required fourteen party wall agreements and the formation of a new basement in Caltite concrete.  The natural light within the property was enhanced with the use of glass roofs, rooflights & glass floors on every level.  The finishes were of a high quality including bespoke oak staircases & floors. The narrow width of the building meant that every detail required precision engineering. The finished house is unique and it is unlikely a comparable property can be found within London.
